Over the past month, I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Europe, working on building Skin Fitness awareness, as well as promoting the new ABLE concept. It’s been a tremendous amount of work and a life changing experience to juggle these projects, but it’s at the same time, it’s been completely fulfilling as well.
One of the things that I love most about my work is the opportunity to meet with clients – to hear their stories and be a part of their journey as they work toward not only improving their outer appearance, but also as they seek emotional and psychological fulfillment. For many, this is a process that goes beyond the surface; it’s the soul searching and quest to find the meaning and balance of life. I’ve always been a believer in taking a holistic approach to skin care and beauty, knowing that true beauty is so much more than skin deep. That’s why I created the Lifestyle Beauty Awareness Program. The program is based on three major lifestyle components – how we think about, feel and physically portray the aspect of beauty. It’s about the mind, body and spirit and the balance between them.
Due to the increasing demand of the Lifestyle Beauty Awareness Program, I’ve opted to turn it into a workshop, one that will explore each component through interactive sessions with industry experts. The first workshop will be held in mid-July, and an invitation with more details is coming soon. If you are ready to detox your mind, body and soul, and get the tools you need to feel healthy on the inside, as well as the outside, then this workshop is for you. (If you’re interested in hosting a separate workshop for 8 or more guests, please email me directly.)
I look forward to seeing many of you at the upcoming Lifestyle Beauty Awareness workshop. In the meantime, enjoy these first few days of summer!

My minimum recommendation is to have a facial at least four times per year, one for each season.
With each new season comes changes in the weather and environment. These elements affect our skin differently. Our mood even changes with the weather and this also alters our skin’s needs. If we want our skin to look its best, we need to change our treatment plan and products. For instance, skin tends to be dryer in the winter, so you would not use the same moisturizer that you apply during humid summer months.
My minimum recommendation; however, is not the best solution for everyone. If you have a skin concern, you may need more treatments to resolve the problem. Also, if you are either lazy or too busy and don’t do much for your skin in between sessions, I would recommend coming in more often to maintain the results. Those of you who come every month know what facials have done for your skin.
Four times a year is good advice for individuals who take good care of their skin in between treatment sessions. If you give yourself mini-facials, increase alkaline based foods and antioxidant rich fruits and vegetables to your diet, and limit direct sun exposure, getting a facial at the change of each season will offer you a boost and will provide you with information about the best products for the next season.
For those who know me, I have shared some great tools on how to better care for your skin in between sessions. The Ageless System is one of my latest tools. It’s an excellent solution for individuals who never get facials, especially if you incorporate the Glowing Skin Diet and the Facial Muscle Fitness Workout.
We may create new skin cells daily, but damage to our skin can last a lifetime, and it usually shows up years after harm has been done. For this reason, it’s important to make a long-term investment in our skin. Email me for information on the Ageless System or to schedule an appointment.
